Lemon
Markie does have a SWEET TOOTH, but today it seems he was more in the mood for something SOUR! After refusing to have a mandarin, he insisted I cut a lemon for him and to my surprise he ate over two thirds of the whole one!

I think I've found the perfect Italian class for me, finally! The class is run by a volunteer, a very nice lady, Elena, and is only for mothers. There is even a babysitter for the little ones, which means I can concentrate on the lesson and not have to worry about Markie. It's at a decent hour, from 2-4pm, at a nearby primary school, and finishes just on time for me to go pick Jamie up from Kinder. I'm so glad this is catered for mothers, the previous lessons were all in the evenings which meant by the time I had dinner done and the kids ready for bed, I was too tired to study. Yesterday was our first lesson and I really liked it, Markie was an angel (?) and played nicely the whole 2 hours, he even drew me a nice picture to take home. We are looking forward to our next lesson next week!

Having saved some bread for the ducks at the park, the boys and I set off for Park Valentino today. On the way, they were fascinated by some confetti on the ground and spent some time picking the different colours.

It has been a week since Jamie switched kindergartens. Wataru and I were both ready to decline the offer from this nearby school, thinking that it would be hard on Jamie to change environments. However, on visiting the school and talking with the teachers we both agreed that this was more suitable for Jamie and we went ahead to accept the position.

Breakfast began with croissants, french bread and cereal. The boys enjoyed the honey and hot chocolate!

We took up Marianna's kind offer to rent us her car and made a last minute hotel reservation for another weekend in France. This time we were headed for Briancon, a fortress town and the highest town in Europe. On the way, we went through Cesana, and I managed to take a similar photo to that of one I took more than a month before. Very interesting to compare the differences.
