It's nearing that time of the year again when we have strawberries at nearly every meal. Even Sophie has learnt how yummy they are...
03/03: Hina Matsuri
Today is "Hina Matsuri", Sophie's special day, so we took some pics in front of our Hina Dolls.
Here she is wrapped in grandmother's kimono.
19/02: Lunch with Daddy
A rare lunch outing for Sophie with Daddy, with a great view of the Itoshima beach we enjoyed a very nice Italian lunch at 'Current' a bakery restaurant. Sophie was able to taste little bits of pasta and pizza too.
16/02: Setting Up
The 3rd of May is 'Hina Matsuri' in Japan a celebration for young girls where they display their hina dolls. Usually something passed down from generations from mother to daughter in Japan but in our case we had to buy a new set and Jiiji and Baaba were very kind in doing so for Sophie.
So to open and set up the display we chose today, the 16th February, a lucky day for good luck.
14/02: Sophie 8.5 Months
Time flies and Sophie can now sit on her own and likes to play with her hands...
11/02: Momochi
After a spicy lunch at a favourite chinese restaurant we parked at the Fukuoka library and took a nice afternoon walk towards the tower and momochi beach.
